Local & Service

When someone nearby searches, you're there or you're not.

Local buying decisions get made in about thirty seconds, on a phone, from three results and a star rating. Almost everything that matters happens before anyone reaches your website.

Who this is for

Hospitality, trades, clinics, salons, gyms and studios.

Businesses where customers are nearby, ready to buy, and choosing between you and two others.

You're opening soon

There's a lease, a date, and one chance at a strong first month before the reviews exist.

Word of mouth has plateaued

It filled the calendar when you were smaller. It won't fill a second van or a second location.

You're invisible in search

Competitors appear on the map and you don't, and nobody's ever explained why.

How we'd approach it

Where we'd start, and why.

The advantage here comes from doing the basics properly, because most competitors don't.

First

Google Business Profile and local search

Being the first result on the map with the most reviews. For a local business this is almost always the cheapest customer you will ever get, and it's usually sitting half-configured.

Then

A review engine that runs itself

Reviews decide most local purchases. We build the sequence that asks every happy customer at the right moment, so it stops depending on you remembering.

Alongside

A site that answers the four questions

Are you any good, how much, how soon, and what happens next. Most local sites list services and answer none of them.

Why this order

Search ads come after, not before.

Paid search works well for local businesses. It's text, it captures people who already want what you sell, and it can fill a diary quickly. But it's wasted if the profile and the site aren't converting first.

Get the free listing and the reviews right, then buy more of the same demand once you know it turns into bookings.

What you'd get

In the first ninety days

  • Google Business Profile fully optimized
  • Local search and map rankings improving
  • Review requests running automatically
  • Website copy that answers real questions
  • Search ads, once the rest converts
  • Reporting on calls and bookings, not clicks

Straight answers

What owners ask us.

Do I need a new website?
Usually not. Most local sites need the words changed, not the design rebuilt. We'll tell you honestly if the site is genuinely holding you back, but that's rarer than web designers suggest.
How do I get reviews without being annoying?
Timing and wording. Asking at the right moment, from the right person, with a link that takes two taps. Done properly it doesn't feel like an ask, done badly it's the fastest way to irritate a happy customer.
We're not open yet. Too early?
It's the best time. The profile, the tracking and the offer are far cheaper to get right before launch than to unpick afterwards, and opening week is the only time you get free attention.
